Why TSV is handy
Tabs rarely appear inside real data, so TSV usually needs no quoting at all. Pasting TSV into Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets splits it into columns automatically.
Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read by JavaScript in this tab and never leaves your device. You can load the page, switch off Wi-Fi and it keeps working.
What happens to commas inside values?
They are kept as normal characters; in TSV only tabs separate fields.
